I purchased these when I sprained my right thumb and couldn't hold my water weights in my hands. From the reviews it sounded like I could sub these gloves for the weights while I recovered. On the plus side they did fit over my brace. But when I was able to start using my weights again, I was shocked by how much strength I lost. FYI I did my same workout with the gloves as I do with the water weights. But they are pretty cool for swimming so I going to keep them for that.Good to wear for water resistant exercise.I am using these gloves for my water resistance exercise. Medium is a good fit for my large elder hands!The small is actually the size of a medium glove.Water walkThese gloves have really kicked up my water aerobics workout. I can feel the extra resistance and they are comfortable. So far, they have not faded in the chlorine water. I would highly recommend.Wonderful water gloves! Very well made ?I didn’t buy these to swim faster although they probably would. I’m old and need to use the handrail to get in and out of the pool. I live in the hot desert and these gloves save my hands!Haven’t used them yet but really pleased with them . I used to wearing the swim gloves due to arthritis in my hands holding paddles or other hand help exercise equipment difficult but the gloves give resistance the entire time .
