I trim the mainsail on a 36' sailboat and am a heavy glove user - and destroyer. These have stood up to two season's abuse and appear to have a third season in them. Highly recommended!I have had the white/blue version with all open fingers for sailing used constantly for 3+ years and have never had an issue, I just wanted full finger gloves. I thought the black/grey looked like they would have nice protection and grip. When I received them the black was actually quite slick and I had a hard time gripping lines with them. Then after about 3 uses, the actual neoprene tore around the wrists and the threading around the fingers began to come apart.I reached out to the seller who was fantastic and replaced them!I received the blue/grey as my replacement from the supplier and I have yet to use them but they feel 1000% better than the black/grey, and feel like they offer more protection than the white/blue in the palms. They are much thicker and I am extremely happy with them! I have not used them sailing yet but hopefully, they last just as long or longer than my white/blue with the short fingers!TLDR, white/blue should be good, blue/gray seems to be the best! Black/grey, no go! The seller was fantastic to work with replacing!Good quality and durable. These are OK but don't fare well under really wet conditions. They will do if you're lake sailing but not very well when there are swells and the wind is around 10 knots or better. They don't dry out as fast or as well as the better gloves. These are just the thing I was looking for. I ordered a small, and they fit great!'okgreat gloves fit perfect and worked well even being very wet. sun-dried them after wards. He used to wear them for sailing, but we no longer have a sailboat. These are his go-to work gloves.
