I'm not a ballerina, but I do Ballet Beautiful. I wanted something more breathable and more elegant than leggings. These are excellent quality. So, so flattering and lifting. The seam is beautiful! They are a tiny bit compressing so if you have thicker legs, size up. Ordering the nude ones next.These are beautiful, I have them in black and pink. Not too sheer, good control, and I love the detail.I'm not able to tell too much about these tights because I could barely get one leg on (I normally wear XL in other brands as well). I have thicker legs and the tight is simply too narrow in the leg for me. I originally tried to gather them up before putting them on, but I couldn't even do that because the opening was just too small. I finally just put them on kinda like tube socks and pulled them up into place. So far they're a waste of money for me, but I might see if they can be stretched out a bit considering their high spandex content.I can say this much: They feel very durable. The designer seemed to ditch comfort a bit for that durability. They also seem to be made for a LOT of support, so expect a lot of compression. I imagine if I could get them on, they would be a good long-lasting tight, but I can't say for sure.Reinforce the toes and offer more colors and you have a market cornered. Love the compression vs sheer ratio.I love these tights. Theyre quite durable. I can do yoga, acrobatics, and dance without worrying about putting a run in them. The waistband stays put, and the garment overall doesn't slide or bunch after you put it on. I will mention, these are compression tights, and they can be a bit of work to get on, if you aren't used to that.I've followed Mary Helen Bowers for years and am pleased her merch is just as quality. I'm 5'11", 138 and got the large tights and they fit really well. A bit tight in the toes, but what can you do. These are thick, elongating, and flattering and make a nice line. 10/10Very durable and sleek, will never buy regular tights again!A little snug, very comfortable
