How can they do this? These are the least expensive plates you can buy. They were shipped from California to New Jersey in bullet proof packaging and arrived in perfect condition. They are exactly the weight marked, they are smooth and easy to handle, even in the cutout areas. Somebody lost money on this deal but it wasn't me. If you need perfectly fitting olympic plates for a 2" bar this is a great solution. There are no drawbacks to this plate. I don't know how they do it.
