I have a long torso, so I usually look for high waist, but these are weirdly high! And the cute cross straps in the back aren't tight enough to fit the fabric to my waist. I almost want to fold it over, but it looks weird that way too. You can see in the photos how the fabric bunches at the waist.Measurements (Small, keep in mind these are very stretchy):2.5" inseam13.5" outseam11.5" rise24" waistThe fabric and the rest of the construction is good, going down a size would have been too tight. The inseam is 2.5" but because the fabric is so stretchy it can be pulled down more (see the last photo). I was looking for dance shorts, so the length of the leg is a bit too long for my purposes.I hope this is helpful! These are good quality but because of the measurements they're not for everyone.Edit: not sure why this was hidden by the sensitivity filter? I'm resubmitting to see if that's fixedLove these shorts — soft, comfy, great for hot yoga - will definitely be being more — wish they had other colors or prints but basic black always works!Shorts are awesome, length is perfect so I don't have chub rub. I read a ton of the reviews on these shorts & finally decided I wanted to give them a shot.Let me say this for anyone concerned on sizing being a thicker thigh/bottom woman:COVID came with some weight gain, & I'm normally a medium but I packed on some pounds over the COVID year. My thighs & butt have always been thick, & I've got hourglass waist/hips. Traditionally I'm a medium, but figured I for surely needed a large, if not XL. I'm 5'2", currently about 185lbs with much in my lower half.These shorts are great. I bought the large & I think they fit perfect, & give me hope that soon they will be too big!! :) While I don't like seeing my thighs jiggle, I still feel a bit more confident in these. I do pull the shorts part up while in my pole class, but they don't seem to ride up much. I love the higher waist, & they do offer tummy control. They are super comfy too. I ordered the black to start, & will certainly be ordering more. The 1 thing I can't truly judge yet is lifetime, as I've only been wearing them over the course of the last 2 weeks. But so far, so very great!I bought the maroon pair first and then I had to have another pair, they are so comfortable and flattering. The dip in the back seam accentuates the glutes so well. Very impressed with the quality and price.I love the length and how soft these shorts are. I dont like how long bicycle shorts are but I'm not trying to be cheeky either ;) these are a perfect length, and I have not experienced them riding up at all in the few times I've worked out in them. V-cut is super cute, and I will be buying more!Good enough my niece took mine and I’ve yet to order more. But she likes them. I liked them enough to wear out in public. So that’s saying something.Super cute, good quality fabric, love the shorts themselves but they fit a bit small bought a large and definitely could of used a bigger size
