I'm 5'6, 140 lbs, DDD.I also have a very wide ribcage (pectus carinatum, connective tissue disorder) so most bras are *not* built with me in mind.Even with my nonstandard body type, these are good. The support is there, I don't feel smooshed and I don't have the dreaded uniboob.The band is a little tight around *my* ribcage, but not unbearably. Usually I have an issue with the straps being able to adjust short rig to give the support I need (since I need to size up to get the band I need) and this was not a problem.Don't love that you need to pull it over your head and pry it back off. Hard for those of us with certain physical disabilities.But, well made, cheap, and about 90% comfortable. Well worth the money and probably about the best I can ask for.I took the padding cups out and love these. Bought the XL as a 36DD and these are great for low impact yoga or wearing around the house. My boyfriend loves the crossback look, so these and a pair of leggings draw him over quickly.I saw so many reviews to size up, I'm not sure if I like my sports bras too tight or what, but I did not need to size up. I returned the ones I purchased. I do not feel like they would give me enough support to run. But, I think they would be good everyday sports bras. The quality was good.I purchased two sets. For size reference, my teenage daughter is a 38D bra size and I purchased an XXL for her. For myself I wear 34-36D and fit into a L. I figure they run small so I went a size up from what we normally would wear.They’re very comfortable and provide good enough support. She uses it to the gym, to school during sports activities, and has even subbed this top as a bikini bra top for swimming. They’re comfortable to use for lounging around. The look straps make it cute! You can even wear it under certain style tanks and it’ll look trendy.I was skeptical at first because many of these type of bras with padded liners do not wash well, and many times one of the padding which has fallen out during a laundry cycle will be lost, never to be found again and I’ll end up removing the liners. Let’s not get on that issue of placing the liners correctly inside the bras. BUT THESE?!? They DO Not have that issue. I’ve washed them several times, padded liners stay perfectly in place thank goodness!I played it safe and purchased the white/grey/black set, but now that I know these wash well and provide great support and are cute, I’ll definitely buy other colors.I went based off the size chart when ordering but I would definitely size down for more support.. bra is comfortable but in a strenuous workout or any cardio whatsoever I have no overall support to keep the girls in place.I have purchased other sports bras, but these are the most comfortable. Quality is great and they fit as I expected. Very pleased!Exceeded expectations, these sports bras are so comfortable, they don’t dig into my skin or itch. I wear them everyday as a regular bra and when I work out. Highly recommendedI really like these because i have severe stretch marks from rapid weight gain and loss due to Lupus Flare ups. I would recommend these to anyone who have a chest Port for infusions.
