Nice snug fit & grippy.... Just what I wanted. But I sadly had to return,?? becuz they are VERY DIFFICULT TO PULL Off. If only the maker added a few tabs on the half - cut fingers.I ordered these gloves after my last pair (from another brand, had a thick pleather-ish tack on the palm side) ripped. Though my old pair had a great grip, they did not have any ability to slide on the pole, and limited my ability to work on static spins (though they were excellent for climbing). I decided to get the Tite Grip pair because I was hoping for something that would allow for more maneuvering on the pole, and I have to say that I am impressed so far. I have used these in class only a few times so far but the M/L fits my hands (which by most accounts would be small, but I fit Mighty Grip's medium size grips). The material is scuba/neoprene on the dorsum of the hand and a kind of soft, nylon fabric on the other side (kind of like backpack material if that makes sense). They are fairly comfortable given that they are meant to be tight-fitting gloves. I was able to do things like pirouette that require changing hand positions, but I also had enough grip that I was able to climb the pole and invert (which would be tough for me without gloves due to my sweaty palms). I cannot comment on the longevity of these gloves, as I just started using them, but I think so far they are holding up. I think in general these type of gloves have a limited lifespan if you are using them regularly on pole (they will get scuffed/ripped/sweaty etc), but they seem to be comparable in quality to similar products I've had in the past.I live three blocks away from a river so my pole room is often very muggy. I purchased a pair of pink Mighty Grip pole gloves with the "patent leather" palms back in February (3 months ago) and they are shredded. They were incredibly uncomfortable and made my hands extremely sweaty. These absorb sweat without making your hands feel like a swamp, they're better made, way more comfortable, and I believe they're actually less expensive. They also allow you a little bit of slide which is something I wasn't getting as much from my other pair (hence why they're shredded). These provide great grip and aren't slick unless you actually want to slide down your pole haha. I'm a female who doesn't have large hands, but they aren't small either, so I ordered the large/medium ones and I'm glad I did because otherwise I think they may have been too tight. This product works well for me since I have hiperhidrosis. It gives me a great grip specially for inversions during my pole dance class. However, I need to take brakes in between because my hands get really warm and sweety, so I have more than 1'pair at class. They work ok for me. I find the Mighty Grip gloves work better. They didn't quite give the grip I was hoping for. Maybe when I am stronger and don't need as much grip these will be perfect, for now they just don't help that much. They sell them as medium to large but when they arrived it only said medium on the package, they were fairly tight and seam between thumb and palm tore during my first lyra session. Returned. They definitely have some grip, some moves are still tricky to hold but the purpose of these gloves was for show not for grip aid.
