the zipper on this is technically inside out, although the pull tab is on the right side of the garment. this means that it won't zip if there's any horizontal tension on the zipper, because it pulls the teeth out of alignment. I have to zip it first and then pull it over my head like a traditional sports bra, which is inconvenient because I bought this as a post-breast reduction bra, and it's not very easy to pull something this snug over my head right now. however, once it's on, it's very comfortable and retains its shape well, which makes it a really great step down from my post-op compression gear. I don't know if the zipper issue is part of the design or was just a fluke on the one I got, so I'm giving it four stars and the benefit of the doubt, because if the zipper were installed correctly this bra would be perfect.I bought this for high adventure horseback riding deep in the mountains of West Texas in the height of summer. When I say long wear, I mean, I put this on at five AM Monday morning and didn't take it off again until my shower Friday afternoon.I wore this through a solid week of summer sweating, sunscreen application, sleeping in the dirt, and having horses rub their heads all over me without taking it off at all, and it didn't itch, it didn't rub, it didn't pinch. I only barely had lines on my ribs when I finally took it off.It did exactly what I wanted it to do, and it held up under four weeks of hard wear and NOT washing on the gentle cycle. Super great purchase!I will say, I'm a 32C and I bought a medium even though the size chart says I should order a small, and it fits comfortably and supportively.Once I learned that I needed a 3X to fit properly, I loved it. (I only weigh 165 pounds.). This bra is not suitable for larger-breasted women.While it tends to run very small, it is easy to put on and comfortable. The front zipper is so convenient.As I had a bilateral mastectomy from breast cancer, this bra has removable inserts. I take those out and insert my prosthetics instead.I have purchased five of them.Good support and pretty cute, but I'd have to use this as a bra, not a shirt. For me, that wasn't the purpose, so it went back. At 5'7", 170 lbs, 36DDD, and 63 years old, it just wasn't for me any more. 30 lbs less and 2" longer and I might have avoided the stuffed sausage look!I bought 4 different post surgical bras and I ended up wearing this one 90% of the time. It's just PERFECT and fits like a glove. I love the length because it doesn't allow any riding up, which is fantastic if you've had surgery in that area. I'm going to buy more for sureGreat will order moreI’ll preface by noting I am not well-endowed although being a middle-aged Mom who enjoys working out & running, I still need support & it helps when the support looks nice, too.First thing to note is the material is very soft & almost silky! It is spandex but an amazing soft blend.I did notice that it’s a single layer of material where the cups are, but TG for padding as that still covers even though you can still see the cup shape a bit: not a worry with me as I just barely filled them out.The zip seems very sturdy & like it will hold up - I’ve worn zip-fronts before & the zip busts open the moment I begin to lift any weights or do push-ups & this zip HELD FAST during a long speed walk & Hard HIIT core workout after.I was a bit worried as when I put the sports bra on it was a bit more snug than I thought it would be: I ordered the Medium as I’m 36B & was worried I should have got the Large instead as I’m broad in chest & waist; as I moved in the top though, the material stretched out a bit to become not as snug while still holding what needed to be held in, in place. The bottom band barely rolled which is a huge plus for me as I’ll always have the belly pudge.It handled my sweat, the only thinner part of the material is where the cups are but again they have a removable liner which covers what it needs to so it’s fine. The sports bra held up to 2 hours of working out - it stayed zipped & comfortable the entire time & kept things in place. Not once did I have to adjust or move a strap back in place!And the material is STILL soft after a wicked workout which included push-ups & burpees.I’ve washed the top twice now - it’s moved into my favorites section of my workout gear plus it looks cute under a loose/open yoga-style shirt for casual wear (because you never know when the mood to run or workout will arise!)I may need to get it in black as well - good front-zip sports tops are not easy to find at a good price!!32DDD and L fit great. Can wear as a cute top with something high waisted or not if you’re a bralette as a top person. Swam in it once but takes forever to dry, do not recommend that
