The first thing you should know is that the material is more like a satin pj bottom and they are a little big, with an elastic waist, I would say either get your normal size, or you might be able to get 1 size smaller if you are a true size. You DEFINITELY will not be able to wear these in public without a tunic or dress as they are pretty see-through, but they are extremely comfortable and look great. I do wish the material was thick enough I didn't need to wear a dress, but since I usually do anyway it's not a major deal for me. I would most certainly buy again, with the full understanding that due to the material they probably won't last more than a year or two at most.
