This gives a fast readout and I do not have to wear a chest strap. I hang it in the corner of my gym and can quickly take a reading. It would probably be a bit bulky for a jogger but is perfect for my home gym. It does sometimes give an inaccurate reading as it tries to sync up with the pulse, but one quickly learns to dismiss the obviously high reading and wait a second or two for the Insta Pulse to sync up for correct reading. Since this tool is trying to establish a steady rate reading in an extremely short time, I suppose the errors are to be expected. I pretty much have a feel for where my pulse rate is and know when the reading is way too high.
