Inov-8 Women's F-Lite 215 Cross Training Shoes - Lightweight Gym Workout Shoes for Women - Perfect for HIIT, Running & Fitness Classes

Love these shoes! Its crazy what a difference these make with my Crossfit WODs!I always wear an 8.5 in street shoes and a 9 in workout/running shoes. The 9's were huge and I sent them back for the 8.5. Fit is good and snug. I have narrow feet, so those with wide feet may not like these. I do HIIT Fit and Crossfit classes and like these for that purpose. Very stable platform for lifting, grippy etc. I do not like these for running. In class, I have had to run a mile and do jump rope. The balls of my feet take a beating. Very minimal cushion...almost nothing and feels very hard and stiff under the ball. To be fair, I have suffered with sesamoiditis (ball of foot pain) on and off for a few years and the ball joint of my foot is sensitive.Very excited to have such a quality alternative to Reebok Nanos. I had my first pair of Nanos that started falling apart after only 4 months. I usually wear a pair of shoes to death - over a year of constant working out - before they bite the dust. So I was not OK that the only shoe that I was aware being marketed to CrossFitters was made so poorly. Never fear! Now I have Inov-8s. Granted, I have just started wearing them but am impressed with the comfort and the quality. I feel that the grip on the shoe is superior to the Nano and made rope climbing that much easier. I am now an Inov-8 believer! Looking forward to more WODs with them.I wear a 5.5 or a 6. I ordered these in a 5.5 and probably should have bought a 6, they are a tad small in the toes. Was too lazy to send them back since I got them for a really good price. They are cute and work well for every WOD. I also have the f-185's and these feel a little more substantial and more narrow than the f-185's. My favorite is the f-185, but I still really like these. I definitely prefer them over my 2 pairs of Reebok Crossfit Nano's.This is not a running shoe! This is not a shoe intended for extended daily usage. I have been doing boxing and needed a shoe that would provide enough support to feel confident when making sudden movements from one side to another; that would be flexible enough to not hurt my leg because of excess support (like running shoes) and that would be comfortable so that I can barely feel I am wearing any shoes at all. If it was for me I would not use any shoes at all when training, but I needed better grip for my training.I can honestly say these shoes were exactly what I was looking for... and they are pretty as well. :)I enjoy a very active life style. Merrell Cross training shoes had been my shoe of choice. Great fit and durable. Easy to wash and wear. After a year they are still like new. I love the minimalist style which allows better overall control for me. I had only used Merrell's for a couple of years. However, I was getting ready to travel abroad for a couple of months and decided to try the Inov-8 F-lite 215. I actually bought two pair in different colors. This first pair were a whole size to small although the shoes both said the correct size. Not having any time to deal with returns I gave them away. The second pair I took with me to London. after a few weeks I started to notice that there was a small hole on one shoe. By the time I got home just before Christmas both shoes had holes and the shoe laces were shredded. Not even two months old and these shoes fell completely apart. Ugh. Talk about disappointed. I was not only disappointed but embarrassed.I wear these on elliptical, treadmill and then for lifting. I spend the most time lifting so thats why I got these. They are stable and have a decent incline for proper form.I was concerned that the flat style would not be enough support for me on treadmill, but they are good, better than the NewBalance minimus I tried.I especially like the rubber around the toe since this is wear a lot of shoes fall apart.Love this Inov8. I was having foot issues and once I started wearing these, no more problems! I wear thse for short distance running and cross training. Previously I wore the F-Lite 185, but felt they were a little too flimsy for running. I have not tried running a longer distance with these but so far they have been great for sprints.love them so comfy love Inov8 products :-) great value too will buy from them again and recommend
