This gym mat is a basic mat and does exactly what it was purchased for. I use it on the patio when doing my work out (abs, lunges) where my back or knees would touch the ground. The 10mm thickness is fine for protecting those parts and being comfortable. It has a handle opening cut out at the top of the mat where it allows it to be hung on a wall.
