Product Description

The Rep Fitness adjustable bench is great for hitting multiple angles when you workout. The bench is capable of flat, incline, and decline (FID) positions. Ideal for home and light commercial use, the bench has a thick, firm, 2.5" pad wrapped in very durable, textured vinyl for maximum comfort and support. The solid-steel ladder has 7 positions, from 85-degrees incline down to negative 20-degrees decline, while the seat has multiple adjustment angles to give you more support as your back angle changes. Innovative features include a bare steel, back adjustment ladder to prevent the chipping and flaking of paint from metal-on-metal contact seen on other adjustable benches. Wheels on the rear make it easy to move by lifting the handle on the front of the bench. Product specs: 54"x26"x17.5"; 85lbs; 17.5" from floor to top of pad; 11.5" pad width at shoulders; 7 different ladder adjustments; 4 different seat adjustments; roller pads lock your legs into place for decline work. Ships mostly assembled. 15-minute assembly time. 10-year warranty on frame and 30-day warranty on padding. Assembly notes: **Important** Product comes mostly assembled, but be sure to tighten down the bolts/nuts. If you forget to do this, the bench won't feel as solid becuse some parts will be too loose. A socket wrench will greatly speed up assembly, but is not necessary.

Product Features

The AB-3000 is known as the best-value, adjustable, FID bench for home gyms, and it just got better with a new, upgraded look and feel in the AB-3000 2.0.

Improved Stability - Updated front and rear bases with rubber covers provide more grip to the floor and keep your flooring protected. The rear base is also wider to enhance side-to-side stability.

Versatile - Along with added leg roller positions, the AB-3000 2.0 now has eight back pad positions, which are now common degree angles most people prefer and are proven to provide a more effective workout. It also features laser-cut numbering along the ladder to easily show what angle you’re setting your back pad at.

Updated Pads - Our new CleanGrip pads are denser to ensure durability and have more grip than our previous version. They are also easier to clean – the smaller perforations trap less dirt and debris. We also provided an updated, squared-off back pad to increase the surface area for increased back support.

Updated Handle - The horizontal handle on the updated leg attachment stays out of the way when you’re lifting and makes the bench easier to move around your gym.

Updated, Built-in Leg Roller - Leg rollers on the AB-3000 2.0 can be moved farther back for better clearance and farther forward than the original design for more comfort in decline. They can also be locked into any of the six positions while doing decline sit-ups and incline bench.

INCREDIBLE bench. Couldn't be happier. This thing is substantial. The pictures don't do it justice. Commercial gym quality equipment, really. Every bolt is HUGE, even the ones holding in the seat padding. The pads are equally as substantial. No balsa wood backing that cracks when you tighten the bolts or flexes under load here. The pads are backed with a thick slab of wood and themselves are very thick but also very firm. The frame and the back post are over-engineered compared to the competition. (I'd know, I've owned and assembled a few others. Recently returned one that I hated from a brand that rhymes with Ex-Marc.)True to the description, I had it assembled in 15 mins. Advice on assembly:1) Have ready a socket wrench with 14mm, 17mm and 3/4" sockets, and spanner wrenches to match.2) When assembling the seat, turn the bench upside down and remove the stopper bolt so you can lift out the seat post to make room for your hands. There will only be room to tighten the bolts 1/8 turn at a time with the spanner, so hand tighten before using the wrench.3) When attaching the foot assembly, don't tighten the bolt in the slotted opening so much that the foot attachment can't move freely. It is meant to move freely so you can push it beneath the bench when you don't want to use the foot hold-downs, and slide forward when you do. I think that other reviewers complaining that the pads hit them in the calves might have their foot attachment tightened permanently in the outward position.Pros:Top of seat pad is only 17.5" from the ground, just like professional benchesPads are super firm and long enough to accommodate the tallest liftersBench dips aren't a problem unlike other benches with soft pads and backrest ladder handles that protrude form the sidesMany different incline positions to suit a variety exercisesMultiple seat positions (4)Foot hold-down travels with seat, great feature, especially for decline position.Cons:No rubber on feet. You'll need a mat to protect your floor and to keep the bench from sliding. I don't recommend the CAP mat in my photos unless you're building a garage gym - it weighs 70 lbs. and stinks of rubber. When it came down to it, my decision for my new bench was between this one and the ValorPro DD-40, which is basically the same, but 10 lbs heavier and a frame made from oval tubing instead of square tubing. The ValorPro was out of stock and $30 more after tax, so the choice was easy to make. Very glad I got this one. The savings paid for the mat that I bought to go with it.
