I purchased this in black, and applied to to a very textured wall which was painted with latex paint. Now that I've done the work, and put it up there, it looks like someone painted it on my wall. It does not look like a cheap sticker at all! I am very impressed with how good it turned out. However the amount of work I put into putting it on the wall, was a bit more than expected. The sticker is delivered between 2 paper mats. 1 is a protective layer, and the other is a light adhesive sticker paper used to position the sticker property to your desired spot. Once the Protective payer it removed, the vinyl sticker is exposed, along with the sticky paper. As such, you then apply the sticky paper/vinyl to your wall and according to the instructions you then are to use a squeegee to run over the vinyl sticker to remove all possible air bubbles. This then should, according to the instructions, cause the vinyl sticker to stay in place when you remove the sticky paper. However, when I began to removed the sticky paper, the vinyl sticker continued to stay stuck to the paper - not my wall. The way I got around this was while pealing back the sticky paper from the wall, as soon as I observed any of the vinyl sticker, I used my thumb the separate the vinyl from the paper and apply it to the wall with my thumb. Even though it took quite a bit of work to put it up, I am very happy with this purchase.
