One of the most versatile mats on the market, the Natural Fitness Warrior Mat has something for everyone. Manufactured without the harmful chemicals found in PVC foam mats to keep your practice healthy, it also keeps you safe thanks to the medium cushion and grooved patterned that prevents slipping. It's also built to last so even as you graduate to more advanced poses, this mat will remain a dependable fixture in your home or at the studio. Material: Natural Fitness has created the Warrior Mat using the same proprietary blend as our elite Hero Mat. The proprietary blend of natural rubber and PER (Polymer Environmental Resin) to create an user-friendly composite which is provides the most important qualities needed in a yoga mat: superior traction, durability and density. Traction: The top of the mat provides a non-slip surface that you would expect from a high performance mat. The ever so slight ribbing texture of the mat grips your body as you move through poses and holds up over years of practice. The bottom of the mat incorporates a texture that is designed to grip the floor and not move once laid in place. Density: The Warrior Mat is 5mm and a medium density composition which is appropriately thick and cushioned for a studio grade mat. The medium density makes the Warrior Mat lighter in weight than our Hero Mat. Durability: The Warrior Mat is designed to be a studio mat; it will hold up for users of all levels and disciplines. SIZE: 24” x 69” x 5mm Available in 4 Colors: CRIMSON; GRANITE; TEAL or AMETHYST. All include a charcoal bottom

I LOVE THIS MAT! It was only $22 with my Prime account and you really can't beat it. I have seen mats of the same quality/style go for $40-$100. This is definitely worth every penny! It is also eco-friendly which is a huge plus for me. I am unsure why the reviewers feel it is slippery - I have not experienced this and even if I were to most mats (in my experience) are slippery if you sweat a lot, that is why they make "yoga towels". If anything it is super sticky. I do yoga outdoors on a hard wooden surface and I needed something a little thicker for my knees, this mat is perfect and it does not effect your balance or stability for grounding poses like really squishy mats do. I also noticed reviewers complaining about the length (being too short) when I compared to my regular Gaiam mat it is exactly the same. I am over 5'7 and it is the perfect size. For a good quality yoga mat, that is priced fair you won't be disappointed. The purple is really classy and not distracting at all.My boyfriend and I have used this mat for our exercise/yoga routines. After 2 years of rolling and unrolling the mats, they both haven't shown much wear. My boyfriend is 200+ pounds, so that's saying something! He only wishes the mat was a bit bigger. It sure knocks the socks off of those $10 mats that are made uniformly from some sort of foam. The bottom of this mat is a dense foam that has a texture with a bunch of little circles. I've had this slide around on the floor a bit, especially if the floor is dusty/dirty. The top of the mat is a nice, grippy rubber. It was a little slippery when it first arrived, but we gave it a good wipe down and haven't had issues with grip since. This is a great mat for you if you are a casual yogi who takes class once or twice a month. If you take class everyday you will probably end up buying 3 or 4 of these by the end of the year, especially if you take power vinyasa, hot yoga and/or sweat a lot. The material began to come undone after just two classes! I am sending this second one back and just purchased a different, more durable brand.PROS: Great price! This is probably one of the better quality mats priced under $40. It is thicker than most low end mats and will help to cushion bones and joints in your practice. Its colors are bright and vibrant and wont fade over time. Great mat if you are new to yoga and are trying things out.CONS: While the material is better quality than most lower end mats, it is really best suited for occasional use. Its slippery at first which is to be expected from a new mat. Mine began to fall apart after two uses and this was in a Yin class where there is not a lot of moving around! Not a great mat for teachers or daily practitioners.I was misled by a customer recommendation listed under another product, to think that this was another 100% rubber mat, not the company's fault, but I was disappointed to find that it is not 100% rubber. Also disappointed that it can only be used on one side. However, the fact that it is not reversible may be why the traction on the floor is so good--as one side is definitely meant for the floor. It also provides pretty good padding. Overall, I am very happy with this mat so far. Good traction, decent padding, light in weight, and a good price.Somewhat slippery as most of the mats do. The weight is good making it stay on the floor. The length is 68" (as opposed to 72") not long enough when doing big stretch-out. Overall it is a great buy.great value and i don't slide around. i washed it with dish soap and hosed it off outside and it's been a great mat during some sweaty summer classes. This mat was very slippery! I could barely get through a class with this the first few times, especially when my hands and feet got a little sweaty. I tried wiping it down with rubbing alcohol as my yoga studio suggested but it did very little. Finally, I washed the whole thing with dish soap and then used rubbing alcohol again. It's still a little slick but I will still use it. I would not buy this again.I've used the mat a few times now, mostly Hatha and Vinyasa. I love it so far. No complaints. I also purchased a natural mat cleaning spray and gave it a good wipe down before using the mat, and I've had no trouble with slipping. So happy I'm thinking of getting another color too.
