Pros: After trying several other brands and styles of orthotic slip-on sneakers the fit of this pair was by far the best for me. No rubbing, pinching, or need to break in - the fit is great. This is very important to me because at size 11 there is no going a half size up or down to adjust. The arch support is also excellent. I walk on trails that have rocks, scree, bits and pieces of cacti scattered about so I was especially pleased that the soles are thick and sturdy enough to prevent any discomfort, even under the ball of my foot where several other brands offered thinner soles and little protection. The uppers fit closely enough that they prevent all the tiny rocks, etc. from getting kicked up into the shoes - something I've had problems with even with lace-up sneakers so that's been a big plus so far. And compared to some other shoes of this type that I've tried, the quality of the fabric uppers is also much better.Cons: The only real downside I've found is that my feet get a bit warmer in these than I would like so even though they're comfortable I keep them for use on my daily outdoor walks and hikes which is actually fine because that's the purpose for which I bought them. And though others may disagree, they're not really stylish to me but again, I didn't buy them for that purpose and for what I want, they're close to perfect.
