MAVOUR COUTURE High Waist Tummy Control Yoga Pants for Women - Seamless Workout Leggings with Moisture Wicking for Running, Gym & Lounge Wear

I want to start by saying I have a short torso, so high-waisted looks never look right on me. I'm 5'4" and weight 160 lbs. I bought these pants because I was looking for a high-waisted workout pant that wouldn't slide down or have a muffin top while I worked out. These pants do just that PLUS look crazy flattering and give me the illusion of a slim waist.The pant design is flattering in that the pieces are small and stitched together to create a flattering silhouette. The band at the top of the pant hugs my stomach around bellybutton level, and an extra elastic band (very wide band) sits on top of that to hug in my midsection, and keeps the pant up just around the bottom of my ribcage. The only that is unfortunate is that the band kinda flops over when I sit down, but's likely my belly flab causing it to flop over when I sit.Other than that, it's a great material, keeps things snug, and is super super flattering. I also have the matching sports bra, which I super recommend.Ok so...I got this leggings the other day. I put them on after the shower and I like them. Then I took mushrooms that night and all of a sudden they're huge. The tummy panel goes up over my breasts. The legs are bundling up at my ankles. We named them Rumpleforeskin. The next day, they were fine again.I;m short waisted 5'7 and fit perfectGreat fit & great colour!The high waist is pretty comfortable. I didn't like the seams all over the place. Along the sides where the mesh is was a bit itchy at times. There's another seam that runs around the back of the calf, and I kept wanting to tug that down to be below the muscle. I also wanted to pull the bottoms down to stay at my ankles. Overall, they just seem to be designed for someone with legs a few inches shorter than mine. For reference, I'm 5'6" and tried a size S. These might work for someone shorter.They are nice leggings but I would definitely say to size down. I received the medium based on their size chart and I found they were too loose in the waist and the leg opening. The waist part I can deal with because it wasn't baggy but the leg opening was as if I were wearing a pair of skinny jeans. That part was very baggy and rolling them up just created unnecessary bulk. These are stylish with the mesh strip and did ok during my workout but the material felt cheap. The fabric makes a noise when you walk or something brushes up against you. Plus its very shiny and slick... just screams cheap material to me.These yoga pants have a nice fit overall, and I really appreciate the design touch of having that little strip of mesh, as well as the care taken to achieve a nice cut and design overall.The thing that is not my favorite is the fabric. It has that overly slick feeling of cheaper yoga leggings, so while they fit well from a cut perspective, on my sensitive skin, they are less comfortable than my core 10 or my Lululemon pants. They are also slightly less giving than the fabric on those brands.If you are less particular on your fabric or do prefer a shinier appearance, you'll probably be really happy with these because the cut is very nice.The MAVOUR COUTOURE fitness leggings are designed for tummy control and overall comfort. The tummy control is perfect for maternity wear as well because it is not overly restricting and still allows for comfortable exercise. I have worn the leggings for a month and have washed and dried them with ease. They wash and dry nicely without special care. They are moderately thin but do offer more support than some Nylon and Spandex blends. Though they do have a mesh panel that shows skin, they are not overly revealing. They are relatively breathable in the summer and are a flattering choice. I am very active and will continue to wear these leggings. I will update if I have any issues.
