Product Description

Our original and classic shape. If you have been looking for the best weight lifting gloves, you’ve found them. But what you should know is that the best workout gloves aren’t really gloves at all. Our lifting grips are the biggest leap forward in workout gear and will change the way you look at fitness accessories. Gripad allows your hands to breathe freely while still providing you with excellent grip. The key is in our fabrication and ergonomic design. The smooth neoprene material cushioning the hands wicks sweat away, whilst the textured palm gripping the equipment provides ideal traction. All achieved with minimal coverage, allowing added breathability and air flow. Using our workout grips mean you are less likely to experience an injury and more likely to lift heavier weight without the painful calluses, blisters, and chaffing you typically get with traditional gym gloves. The unique design and construction of Gripad’s weight lifting gloves allow for proper form and range of motion, minimizing your risk of a lifting-related injury. With Gripad, you’ll be able to maximize your workout without painful repercussions to your hands. The Gripad Classic is an ideal workout accessory for regular or frequent gym users, who’s focus is machine based training programs and/or free-weight based training. One size fits most, suitable for both men and women, and available in four great colors: Red, Black, Blue, Camouflage, Pink & Purple. We provide maximum protection with minimal coverage, ensuring the safest and most effective workout you can get. After one workout, we’re sure you’ll agree that the best workout gloves aren’t gloves at all, they’re Gripad gym grips. Get a pair of our top weight lifting grips today! GET A GRIP ON YOUR WORKOUT! Fabrication Gripad weight lifting gloves are made of 100% neoprene, traditionally used to make wet-suits, because it is durable, flexible, provides superior grip and whisks away moisture to prevent slipping. Design Gripad covers the integral part of the fingers and palms (the phalanges, inter-phalanges, and distal palm) that come into the most contact with equipment. Unlike traditional gym gloves, three finger loops (index, middle, ring) stretch to fit most after a few workouts. They hold in place and aren’t too thick, providing the necessary support for proper form. The unique open design of our weight lifting gloves allows for proper range of motion, grip, and prevents pinching, bunching up, and sweating that leads to trapped bacteria common with all traditional weight lifting gloves. Construction Our four-layers of high quality neoprene, are individually sewn to make a superior gym glove. Smooth neoprene on the inner pad for comfort, and “shark skin” textured neoprene on the exterior pad for the most innovative lifting grip on the market. I got these mainly to be used for dip stations, gymnastic rings, pull up bar and resistance bands. For me, they are too small, as the photos can show. It doesn’t help at all for exercises such as support hold, dips, or anything from above since it doesn’t cover that part of my palms. They might be good for someone with small palms though. The comfort its great and your hands can breathe but i’ve only used this for 2 months and they already started to break ( I don’t even lift heavy )I got these as an easy option for gym gloves when I am lifting heavier weights. Some of the heavier dumbbells in my gym aren't used very often so the knurling on the handles are very rough and they would eat my hands up. I prefer the feel of bare hands on weights but I just couldnt be bothered to have ripped hands because of it. I got these because they are easy to slide on when I am lifting heavier and can pop them off when I am doing other exercises with relatively lighter weights. The pads are comfy and thick enough that you will have to grip a little harder to hold the weight but that just works out your grip a bit. I will update my review as I use them more and if/when i notice wear and tear.I own a few different pads for lifting, this being my 5th variety. Every variety has some good features and some head scratchers. I buy these primarily as a symptom of my training environment, my lacking in climate control garage. When I train through the winter the bar is whatever the ambient air temp happens to be. Because of that, it is uncomfortable to grab a metal bar that is, say, -12 degrees. This is where the pads come in as they offer some insulation. I don't really care about the "grip" itself, so long as it isn't actually slick (I own one leather pair that do more harm than good).PRO: grip is well padded and provides sufficient insulation against cold bars. The grip is also nice and steady, allowing my hands to stay as placed. The finger loop system does stay secure and I found it to be comfortable to wear as well as easy to put on and take off.CON: I actually found the coverage footprint of this pad a little odd. If you look as the first finger loop you will see that the pad is narrow here. Functionally this really is only a con if you plan to use the pads during pressing movements as the pad itself allows for skin to bar contact through a portion if the base of the palm. I wouldn't classify this as dangerous, but more that it just wasn't real comfortable to feed the seam pressing between a bar and my hand. I may get used to this over time, but I own a couple pads that don't suffer this odd design flaw and actually provide whole hand coverage. For the money, I think this is a sound product even if it doesn't meet my quirky needs. I still gave it four stars because though I'm content with my purchase thus far, I think that without a redesign by the company I will switch back to NewGrips once these die out. They use to be better quality. They honestly didn't last 6 months in good condition and i am comparing them to an identical pair from the same brand that i had years ago and boy were they durable. Other than that i find them very comfortable and functionalI had used gloves for a long time in the gym. I have grown bigger and stronger and spared my hands as a result of the gloves. Now, the worst part is that they get nasty and stinky but they can be durable. These were a breath of fresh air as far as hygiene was concerned. If you're a new user you can expect a bit of growing pain with these as they are a bit thick around the fingers and the natural compression of your hand while doing work will be altered. It's nothing major but expect it.So a few pluses with these is that they challenge your grip a little more than not using them and when they're new and fresh they have tremendous grip, but that does wear over time as I'll explain. They are most certainly padded and that allows me to use heavier weight more comfortable with less pain and more focus. That being said the drawbacks: I have L/XL hand size. I like these for pressing exercises except that I don't position the weight directly in the palm of my hand but rather on the heel of my hand. To get optimal positioning of the pad on my hand I have to only use my index finger and slightly adjust the pad in my hand. Not a major deal but worth mentioning. I wouldn't want them to be any bigger to counter this issue but some people complain about little things and now you're prepared if you're like me. What these are best for his hanging and pulling exercises. Those do the most wear and tear. pullups and hanging leg raises for abs tend to put a lot of wear on the pads. The grip, for me, is honestly not the most important feature of these pads, the padding is. Expect the grip to wear and break away with use.So, in summary I'll add that I received a free pair originally with a body building .com order and they have completely worn. I lift 4-6 days a week without missing a beat. They lasted a decent amount of time. These just arrived today and they seem much more sturdy than the other pair. Perhaps I have not broken them in, or the "free" pair were made with less dense material, or they have simply made improvements. We shall see!I love my gloves. They help me grip better when lifting and my hands don’t sweat. A must have for training! Is this company inside my brain????!!!! Just what I was looking for.......an alternative to regular lifting gloves! I don't lift huge/heavy weights but I wanted something to protect my palms/fingers. My issues with standard lifting gloves is that they are hard to take off......get sweaty.......but most of all don't protect the insides of my fingers. This is the area where bars usually make most contact. Anyway, thought I would try these out. So far so good! Easy to slip on and off as I like to take them off between series. They breath very well of course. Most of all they protect the insides of your finger and your palms and are fairly cushy too. Awesome!Time will tell if they are truly durable or not. That is my only concern but no issues as of now. I bought a 2nd pair just to have as a backup but really loving these things.I have been using this brand for many years and I love it. It protects my hands and at the same time they can breathe, hence the gloves don’t smell. The grip is perfect and they are very discrete.I first started using grip pads, instead of gloves, about 8 years ago. The first pair I purchased were reebok which were great... However those are no longer available, so last year I brought some pro grips... They were ok but as they had a leather palm they weren't washable!... These being neoprene will be, so I'm expecting many years use.. They are quite large compared to the previous pairs, but they're ok.. I'm female and wear size med glovesI have used various weightlifting gloves over the years, and have always managed to get callouses on my palm at base of fingers. It didn't matter whether the gloves were fabric or leather, I still got the callouses. Eventually I just stopped wearing the gloves. The grippad is a whole different ball-game, it has full palm and finger coverage, excellent grip, doesn't bunch up or slide around on your hand and no callouses :-) So why 4 stars and not 5 ? Well after 2 months of solid use, the right hand one is starting to fall apart - a piece of the foam has disappeared. I suspect that it's because I do ring-work and lots of pull-ups, and they just can't handle the strain. However, if you are just using them for dumbell/barbell work I would certainly recommend them. This is a fantastic invention. Suitable for both males and females, it sits snuggly in your palm. I cannot train without these now. They are durable and have enough padding to protect your hands. I use them 5 times a week with heavy weights, and only need replacement 1-2 times a year. Considering the price, it's fantastic! This is not the first time I have bought this product and have always been completely satisfied. Provides excellent protection against calluses and extra grip. Unlike most other gloves, etc. I have used Gripads also last a long time, even when the inevitably start to lose bits of foam due to strenuous use in the gym they continue to work perfectly. Definite value for money with this product!
